Trivia[edit]

  • An unsourced statement about a former player has been removed from the article. Please do not restore it unless there is a reliable source. Capitalistroadster 04:30, 6 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
This info is from the official website. Methinks it is reliable enough. Please go to [1] and select 1971-1980 from the drop-down box. (This is a Romanian only page.)--Luci_Sandor (talkcontribs  05:30, 6 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
This has potential for libel accusations. Would you be so kind as to provide an exact translation of the paragraph in question? Thank you. David.Monniaux 08:39, 13 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
...In their place, Sandu Boc came (he was one of the most elegant Romanian footballers of all times), who was convinced to play for Rapid only because here was allowed to continue his activity after he served his jail sentence.
bogdan 09:07, 13 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
The translation is correct but the content is wrong. Alexandru Boc chose to play for Rapid and not the other way around. After he served the jail sentence he was not allowed to play for Dinamo or Steaua but was free to choose between all other foorball clubs. Alexandra Boc
The most important argument is that he played for another team before playing for Rapid, and that means the source is not as reliable as I thought. I withdraw my support for that trivia phrase.--Luci_Sandor  07:09, 16 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Ufc rapid logo.png[edit]

Image:Ufc rapid logo.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:20, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Adding External Link to Liga1 Homepage[edit]

Remove links to made for adsense sites, and old blogs which are returning 404. Add link to point to the impartial, factual portal for liga 1 at liga1.gamebookers.com - link should point to club page for relevancy. adrian recordings (talk) 00:32, 10 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Stadion[edit]

De ce nu va deschideti pagina pentru noul stadion asa cum au cei de la CSA Steaua? Giulesti s-a demolat si se lucreaza la el. Haideti, pe modelul acesta! Stadionul Steaua (2020) Yellow-sulphur-rose (talk) 11:34, 11 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed Merger[edit]

I stumbled across FC Rapid București strip recently and I think it should be merged into this page. The strip article does not seem notable by itself and the content is fairly minimal (i.e., largely just images of the various uniforms over time). I also don't think it would make this article unduly long or difficult to navigate as the two seem to go hand-in-hand. But happy to hear from others on this. DocFreeman24 (talk) 03:47, 14 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

On second look, the detail is excessive. Looking at a featured article like Ipswich Town F.C., it's better to have prose about the kit history rather than just endless pictures. Would suggest we start an AfD really. Spiderone 08:31, 23 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per WP:NOTGALLERY. It would be appropriate to show a couple of previous kits in the main article to show the traditional style and any particularly noteworthy deviations. The amount shown on the kit page is unnecessary and in fact absurd in places, check the 4 seasons of identical featureless all-maroon affairs of the early 2000s. And it hasn't been updated for 8 years. Bin. Crowsus (talk) 08:25, 23 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete is correct outcome I believe, per the above. Though merge discussions cannot result in delete outcomes, so we'd need an AfD for that. Joseph2302 (talk) 10:28, 23 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
