Court Case[edit]

I seem to recall he was involved in a controversial custody battle over one (or possibly more?) of his grandchildren, claiming his daughter to be an unfit parent. Not sure how it turned out, but probably worth a mention, if anyone wants to do the legwork. Hanoi Road (talk) 00:15, 29 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Political Influence in Tonga[edit]

He was a staunch supporter of parliamentary democracy and did his best at all times to undermine the monarchy. He was arrested at least once, and I'm pretty sure that a charge of sedition was proffered at one point; possibly withdrawn. More weight needs to be given to this.
