Mr Sheen[edit]
I can't provide a citation, but the Australian TV advert for 'Mr Sheen' went like this; it was a duet between Mr Sheen, a tiny cartoon man, short, tubby, balding - a Mr McGoo type. he was superimposed on film of 'Mrs Sparkle', a standard 'attractive housewife' type of model, the one who does her housework with a perfect blow wave, wearing designer clothes. Together, they polished her furniture with a spray-can and a few dainty swipes of a cleaning cloth.
'Oh Mr Sheen, O Mr Sheen! 'You're the quickest waxing trick I've ever seen!'
Later in the ad:
'You're a wonder, Mrs Sparkle!' 'You're a marvel Mr Sheen.'
