Did You Know
A fact from this article appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the "Did you know?" column on February 21, 2008.
The text of the entry was: Did you know ...that the Premier League's proposal to play some matches outside England has been condemned by the Football Supporters' Federation as "outrageous desecration of the national game"?

Intro[edit]

It would be good to have some kind of context for this entry in the introduction to this article. It's not obvious what the subject of the page is. (Football/Soccer) 69.74.24.2 (talk) 16:50, 21 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Title[edit]

Is "Game 39" the official title of this proposal, or is it just something that someone here came up with when trying to think of an appropriate title for the article? – PeeJay 23:43, 25 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

AFAIK it has no official title; it's still too tentative. "Game 39" is what the press have most often called it, so I think WP:COMMONNAMES applies. jnestorius(talk) 02:36, 26 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
