Do not copy data from http://www.4dw.net/royalark/ if you do not know what you are doing; it is full with errors. It is also not customary (even not in Tonga!) to repeat titles again and again after the first mentioning --Tauʻolunga 06:21, 7 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Name[edit]

Can we move this to Siaosi Tupou II? Why use English for a Tongan king? --KAVEBEAR (talk) 10:42, 27 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Edith Marie Pomare[edit]

On 8 December 1898, he was married to Edith Marie Pomare-vahine, daughter of Prince Punuariʻi Teriʻitapunui of Tahiti and granddaughter of Queen Pōmare IV of Tahiti. Edith Marie Pomare-vahine died in 1899.

I am calling this to be questionable. I can't seem to find a reliable source for this claim except in two genealogy websites [1] and [2]. I can't find any reference to this in contemporary newspapers or books published during this time and it would definitely be something that was mention like his marriage to Lavinia and Takipo. The only thing mentioned in New Zealand newspapers during this time period was his engagement to Ofa and his last minute change of mind. --KAVEBEAR (talk) 04:38, 14 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
