Notable?[edit]

I'm not sure this person meets any notability requirements. The pictures seem cool and it's a neat story but this feels like someone's interesting grandfather and not necessarily a great article. Mcoogan75 (talk) 03:05, 14 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The officer in charge of the last colonial expansion of the British empire, who worked himself to death and died at the age of 29 on one of the most isolated islands on earth isn't notable enough for coverage in Wikipedia? You're welcome to nominate the article for deletion at WP:AFD but it's unlikely the community would agree to delete this article. Gwen Gale (talk) 09:07, 14 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
