No mention of Minecraft?[edit]

Search for 'ghast' in your search engine of choice and the first page will be filled with results pertaining to Minecraft (the most valuable computer game of all time). On this page meanwhile they don't so much as get a mention despite there being ample RSes to prove its existence. I will draft an article for the ghast but I have got to admit that this is clearly a case of inflexible following of rules that leads to a worse more confusing user experience and hurts Wikipedia as an encyclopedia. ~ El D. No, the rules exist precisely to avoid listing entries that contain no relevant information on the term. olderwiser 22:39, 14 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
But is it not relevant that it exists? This is the sort of pedantry that really makes me hate trying to contribute to Wikipedia. Well this and the fact that any sort of expert knowledge will get you a CoIN investigation. Wikipedia is edited to a set of often arbitrary and frequently beuracratic rules with no view as to what would actually make it helpful to the reader. ~ El D. Disambiguation pages are not an index of things that exist. They help readers to find existing material on Wikipedia. If there is no relevant mention of the term in an article, there is no point in directing readers to that article. olderwiser 13:27, 18 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
