Glencoe is one of the most charming little towns in South Africa. Surrounded by beautifull mountains, Glencoe is well situated and residents love living in this small little town, without parking metres and traffic lights. Kids ride around on their bikes enjoying the peace. The Glencoe dam is one of the favourite spots, hore riding another wonderfull activity. Where do you still find family run businesses? In Glencoe!!! From a wonderfull little fishing shop called R&R Angling, to a wonderfull clothing boutique called Economics, and the well known decor and furniture shop called Kraaines Interior, to a wonderfull historic hotel called Lala Lapha. Even the spar in glencoe is run by a family..History-wise Glencoe has the historic farm of Karel Landman with the original house on it just out of town..
