Copyright violations

I am removing large chunks that were added today, because the text is clearly copied from other, copyrighted sources. Sources include this blog post and this press release and this as it appeared July 30 (it has since been changed.) These are problematic not just because they violate copyright, but because it takes promotional texts and treats it as appropriate encyclopedia materials. Hello Nat Gertler -- I believe I poorly formatted the text that was added - the copyrighted sources were supposed to be the verifiable sources to support the text's encyclopedic content and it appears my use of those sources may have veered too far into a direct copy of the original content. I'll try again to reformat the text by using the referenced links more as references, instead of content. Thank you for your initial explanation.Joknutzen (talk) 18:57, 13 August 2014 (UTC)

But you are still making claims about the needs and import of this particular education product and sourcing it to the guy trying to sell people the product. That is not a reliable third-party source, that is a first-party source, and use of such things makes Wikipedia seem like a GCI sales brochure. --Nat Gertler (talk) 20:18, 13 August 2014 (UTC)

School gone?

The website is gone, the URL taken over. They announced in 2021 that they were stopping taking applications due to COVID, and there's no sign of revival. The most recent post to their Facebook site is 2020; their last YouTube video 5 years ago. I don't have a source saying "it's dead, Jim", but there are strong signs that it is an ex-parrot. -- Nat Gertler (talk) 05:46, 3 March 2024 (UTC)
