Rephrase it. "highly disruptive" is POV.
Again, the previous positions must be put in perspective, as, for instance, Octavian Paler had been a highly-ranked Communist official for decades (and most other had been party members, too).

This was a student-lead protest. Their main leader was Munteanu. I don't what is the problem with the credibility ? Just because they were supported by some ex-communists? They were also supported by Eugen Ionescu. bogdan 21:55, 9 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

False. Neither Radu Câmpeanu nor Ion Raţiu were party members.

In this direction, the Golaniad is viewed as just another way of creating political pressure before the elections, and lack of respect for the majority oppion after the elections.

lack of respect? who are you to judge? This is as POV as it can get.

The demonstration also was disruptive, as it blocked for months one of the main transport routes of the city. The continuation of a demonstration aimed at changing the government even after the elections was also seen by certain Romanians as non-democratic.

Hoodlum? Seriously?[edit]

What about punk? What about "thug"? I don't think hoodlum is the best translation. I'd go with hooligan but then the song isn't as good because it says "mai bine huligan" and then "mai bine golan" but this nuance here is difficult to translate into English.

But hoodlum? Is this the 1930's, guys? Let's go with "thug". "Better a thug than an activist, better dead than a communist." goes the song.
