NPOV listing[edit]

I've marked this article as NPOV due to all the most successful and talked-about brands and Granada International’s rich and diverse portfolio includes the largest and most prestigious British feature film collection throughout it. It all needs to be reworked IMHO. Mike1024 [[User_talk:Mike1024|(talk]]/[[Special:Contributions/Mike1024|contribs)]] 14:58, 20 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed -- it's obviously the work of a rather keen, and quite sad, ITV/Granada spokesperson or PR dummy...

Proposed merge[edit]

Well, no-one has created this bit of this talk page yet, so here we are. Votes in the format

* '''Oppose''' because yada yada yada ~~~~
  • Support; it looks to me like we've just ended up with two pages by accident... aren't they the same company? Mike1024 (t/c) 00:02, 5 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support; No need for the two different pages, although I'm not sure whether this should be here or at ITV Productions? Angmering 06:39, 5 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Television production subsidiaries past to present[edit]

Can someone tell me all of the television production subsidiaries by Granada past to present? I only know Carlton Television Productions and ITC Entertainment. King Shadeed 23:58, 21 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with Image:Granada.PNG[edit]

The image Image:Granada.PNG is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
  • That this article is linked to from the image description page.

This is an automated notice by FairuseBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. --04:52, 13 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Could someone please try to find an ITV Studios logo without the coproduction bit to replace the logo used on this article and also on the London Studios article.

Rename page[edit]

The following discussion is an archived discussion of the proposal. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.

The result of the proposal was no consensus to move the page at this time, per the discussion below. Splitting is an unrelated editorial decision and you should feel free to continue to discuss that option. Dekimasuよ! 09:33, 6 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Granada ProductionsITV Studios — Taking into account details on http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/2009/may/28/granada-itv should this page be renamed "ITV Studios"? Oxfordmale (talk) 19:43, 28 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I think the whole article needs splitting up. We should have a Granada Productions article that incorporates the history of the company--including "Granada Media" and "ITV Productions"--, an ITV Studios article that includes domestic and foreign operations since the rebrand, and an ITV Global Entertainment article that incorporates the history of Granada Intl. Time for a merge?[edit]

The company is now virtually defunct except for two subsidiaries, Granada Germany and Granada Australia.

As per WP:Common names and Wikipedia:Official names I think it is time to split them off and merge with ITV Studios, as they are subdivisions of that company, leaving the Germany and Australia sections and the history here.

If there are no reasonable objections, or arguments for a page of their own as "ITV Studios international subsidiaries" (or a better title if anyone can think of one), I will do so after a few days. Chaosdruid (talk) 04:48, 21 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
