Guided Muscle Reference?[edit]

Could the title also be a reference to the Road Runner cartoon Guided Muscle; which was produced by Jones when he was still at Warner Bros.? WAVY 10 00:30, 28 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ending depicts World War 3[edit]

Whoever entered this statement into the article...

"When the smoke clears, the time has reversed itself to the Stone Age because of Jerry's invention of the highly explosive liquid."

...has completely missed the point. The experimental bomb being brewed up by Tom is clearly indicated by the notes shown on the chalkboard (E... = mc²) to be a nuclear bomb. There is a famous quote by Einstein:

“I know not with what weapons WWIII will be fought, but WWIV will be fought with sticks and stones.”

In the Vietnam era, Curtis LeMay echoed this sentiment:

"they've got to draw in their horns and stop their aggression, or we're going to bomb them back into the Stone Age."

So the final scene of this cartoon has absolutely nothing to do with time travel. Their timeline has continued into their future where they've bombed themselves into the Stone Age. I will fix the misguided assertion. --Tdadamemd19 (talk) 09:57, 25 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
