Date of train crash[edit]

There seems to be some disagreement about the date of the crash, this site gives 1914, but this one gives 14th February 1900, and this site lists a very brief entry for 1900 in Harcourt Street, though it sounds similar to the accident described in this article. Given that the National Library is one source for the 1900 date and a railway history site backs up that year, I'll change the year to 1900. Autarch (talk) 18:37, 2 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, 1900 it is, the crash photo is reproduced from the Illustrated London News, pg 252, 24 Feb 1900. Suckindiesel (talk) 19:03, 2 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This is primarily about the Railway station[edit]

This article is primarily about the railway station. Thankyou.Djm-leighpark (talk) 18:00, 12 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

A dispute resolution is required to stop the mess that is occuring on Irish railway articles. Djm-leighpark (talk) 18:02, 12 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I don't understand your comment.--Cúchullain t/c 18:25, 12 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Cúchullain ... this article was Harcourt Street Railway station. It was quite a notable station. It closed. A non-notable tram stop was placed outside. Architectural value .. minimal. Notability of tram stop ... minimal. The main picture is changed so 50% of it is dominated by a tram. I have written a fair bit of prose about it. I was going to write some more ... well sourced. But I am not going to do it f pictures of trams dominate the article. I think I will not be happy unless the tram stop is moved to a separate article.

Main image: Should I be in Dublin soonish and have the time without other commitments I will attempt to see if I can get an image of new LUAS stop with the old facade in the background without a tram having significant dominance in the picture.Djm-leighpark (talk) 18:41, 12 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I thought Wikipedia was supposed primarily about prose with support from routemaps, images, infoboxes ... I'm not sure how much one can write about a tram stop but it as sure as hell seems to be beginning to dominate the article with its images.
