This is still likely stub class on what has been labelled a mid -important topic as amongst other features it has excessive use of historic non-acaedemic sources and concentrates on the original discovery, as important as it was. Part of the problem is likely that Harmonic Tremor can be generated by any 'fluid' movement as I understand the likely physics involved, and from the point of view of geology and both volcanic and tectonic process prediction, volcanic tremor and episodic tremor and slip are far more important concepts. I wonder if the answer is to create a new article volcanic tremor on the redirect as acaedemic review articles on both this and ETS exists. Its a bit embarrassing that the younger concept of ETS is dealt with better on Wikipedia than volcanic tremor which has a much larger literature as discovered first and found in more places. As far as I can see if the community did this the harmonic tremor article could be expanded then to deal with say artefacts, (eg helicopter-generated tremor, ocean current tremor), occasional frequency exceptions and limit itself to harmonic tremor science which includes harmonic tremor in glaciers which is nothing much to do with volcanoes.ChaseKiwi (talk) 00:15, 24 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
