"Butterfly" writing credit[edit]

The episode was incorrectly credited to Ann Hamilton when first broadcast on Syfy and Showcase and initially released on iTunes due to the episode sequence changing and the person who did the titles not keeping up with the changes. It was corrected for a quiet re-release on iTunes and appears correct on the DVDs and BDs. If you get the episode captured from broadcast on Syfy or when it was first put up on iTunes it has Ann Hamilton as the writer. If you were to buy it from iTunes today (or re-download your past purchase of it) or watch the DVD or BD you would see it credited to Sam Ernst. Sam Ernst and Jim Dunn joke about the error a few times throughout the commentaries they recorded for season 1, which you can listen to on the discs or get as podcasts on iTunes. It is a bit of a strange and careless one-off mistake.
