Proposed merge with Birmingham[edit]

Subject lacks sufficient notability and WP:RS sources for a stand alone article. Ad Orientem (talk) 23:32, 12 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

[[Category:*Support <Merging Highter's Heath would be a good idea as this would allow it to join a larger article and not stay in it's current position as only a paragraph.]]

If Highter's Heath isn't cutting it as a stand alone article can I suggest a merge with Maypole, Birmingham rather than Birmingham itself. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Flagler32 (talkcontribs) 19:36, 11 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose: Article needs expanding, but not merging with Birmingham. Would probably object to a merger with an adjacent suburb such as Maypole, otherwise the same could be said for most Birmingham districts on this list. They are all real places with real history, and need expanding rather than merging, properly referenced and cited of course. There's some good leads herefor a start Pahazzard (talk) 22:28, 15 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose: For the same reasons mentioned above. It's a suburb of the city so should have its own article. Paul MacDermott (talk) 19:41, 20 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I changed the merger notices to talk about merging with Maypole, Birmingham rather than Birmingham. The seems to be consensus here that if a merger was to take place it would be better to merge with Maypole than Birmingham. Eopsid (talk) 18:50, 14 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Given that this hasn't had support over the last 3 years, I've removed the stale merge tags. Klbrain (talk) 20:10, 20 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
