"Nail House" examples in the US[edit]

eminent domain[edit]

I don't know why the articles were linked or later unlinked. Eminent domain is a government power that takes property. Eminent domain forces the taking of property, so there cannot be a holdout. Holdouts occur in private development projects. Recently, there have been court challenges when quasi-government redevelopment authorities take private land for a private/commercial purpose under the guise of removing "urban blight".
