Prolonged live commercials[edit]

Although long live commercials were not unheard of in very early television, as far as I know most sponsored series of the era would feature a single long live commercial in the middle of the program instead of several commercials throughout the program. So was it "prolonged live commercials" or "prolonged live commercial in middle of show"? Suddenly There Is a Valley (talk) 09:02, 9 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This sentence apparently references several prolonged live commercials featured in the surviving episode audio, including a sketch/segment at the beginning of the show as well as another as part of the program itself. It's also believed that every episode of I Love To Eat started with a similar segment relating to Borden Dairy. Journal this info comes from is from 2010 so YMMV on whether it was particularly prolonged for the time or just by today's standards. Elevenevilworms (talk) 19:47, 8 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
