Infanta Maria of GuimarãesInfanta Maria of Portugal — She is known as Maria of Portugal, not as an Infanta of Guimarães which was only a dukedom, not a sovereign duchy. It is appropriate to have Infanta as she was merely the Hereditary Princess of Parma, not even its duchess. LPC (talk) 16:34, 2 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Spain[edit]

Has it ever been noted that the heir general of Infanta Maria after her descendant Elisabeth Farnese were the Kings of Spain thus making them heir general of the Kings of Portugal? --The Emperor's New Spy (talk) 18:12, 18 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
