This is a good start, but is still pretty short, and it looks like at least one of the sources is in German (can you read this language? If so, great!). Remember, you will need 10 sources for your final researched article. If you're not finding sufficient material in languages you can read, perhaps that's an indication that there might be a better topic out there? Aolivex (talk) 17:28, 23 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Potential Outline[edit]

Since Art Informel was a pretty wide-spread art movement throughout Europe, I thought it might be useful to have a heading for Art Informel in each major country where the movement took hold, especially since various aspects of the movement may differ from region to region (e.g. how the movement started, how long the movement lasted, major artists & exhibitions, etc.)

1. Style

2. Regions

      i. Germany
     ii. Spain
    iii. Italy
    iv. France
     v. United States
    vi. Korea ... etc.

3. List of Informalist Painters

4. References

These look like some helpful divisions. Will you really have time / capacity to add to ALL of them? Genearlly research is more productive when its scope fits your capacity. If you were to prioritize one or two of these, providing you could find sufficient information on them, which would you choose? If you can't find enough information, then is this really the best topic to work on? What about Wikipedia's requirements for notability? Aolivex (talk) 17:26, 23 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Comment[edit]

Hello Richa, I found that you have some good idea about the outline of your topic, and you should start to build them. Besides what you already have in the article, I think the article would be better if you add some impact and criticism of the informalism. Moreover, instead of just listing the informalist painters, you could divide them by periods.Jinghan xu (talk) 02:16, 21 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Art Informel[edit]

There is also a Wikipedia article titled "Informel". It seems to be about the same thing — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.15.39.58 (talk) 08:24, 1 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
