Marine engineering[edit]

Engineering is the main business, shipping is a very small part of their business. --Devokewater (talk) 15:42, 11 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Also @Murgatroyd49: I don't see it that way. Firstly Tankships Division alone produces nearly 20% of their profits [2019] and a lot of what other divisions do is not "engineering" either, but operational services. James Fisher’s strategy is to concentrate its core expertise of marine engineering and operational skills into growing marine service businesses that are focused on the fast growing global marine markets.[1]
Perhaps my words were not ideal, but to describe JF as just an engineering company is only half the story. Davidships (talk) 16:42, 11 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Engineering based services, is probably a better desription of their main activities. --Devokewater (talk) 17:02, 11 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Didn't realise there was a three-word limit. Davidships (talk) 17:15, 11 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
There is no three word limit. --Devokewater (talk) 20:54, 11 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
