Article name

[edit]

In New Zealand, he is known as Jimmy and not James. Is that the common name in other countries, too? Schwede66 18:22, 24 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

It's America's Cup racing time once more, and the common name question remains unanswered. Having had a quick look-around, it appears that Jimmy is the common name not just in NZ, so I shall boldly move the article. Maybe I get a reaction that way. Schwede66 08:42, 26 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Quotations?

[edit]

The "Quotations" section seems to be irrelevant to the biography of a living person. The selected quotes seem to be fairly normal responses to media questions as opposed to any noteworthy witicism. The text implies that the quotes are in some way witty and insightful "responses to cliche questions from sports journalists" but in fact the replies are themselves very cliched in the way they are replies to pundit questions with a sporting style of dogma ie "in the bag", "in the tank", "another level" - it's not Winston Churchill. I don't think a Quotations section is needed here and the content is not referenced and is unverified and not worth the effort of doing so. Andrew ranfurly (talk) 13:02, 8 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Reformat

[edit]

Added sections and moved items into a more chronological and logical order. Some small trimming too. Snori (talk) 10:44, 26 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
