Marekchelsea's reference about Chachot being Polish[edit]

I have removed that reference, Tygodnik ilustrowany Wilno 1859 r., Słownik Geogr., Przewodnik; Szlakiem Adama Mickiewicza po Nowogródczyźnie, Wilnie i Kownie -T. Krzywicki, because it does not state that Chachot is Polish.

This is where I found out:

I have read over this article several times and I didn't find the fact that Marekchelsea was trying to prove. Just because this is a Polish encyclopedia (or whatever) it doesn't make Jan Chachot Pole. Ales Hurko (talk) 20:25, 2 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

question[edit]

Right now the text reads: "was a noble of the Commonwealth". Obviously this wasn't the Australian Commonwealth, the UK Commonwealth, the Commonwealth of Iceland or the Commonwealth of Virginia. But this may not be obvious to non EE readers, and is grammatically incorrect, especially with that definite article in there. So is anyone going to freak out if I clarify it to "Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth"?Volunteer Marek (talk) 15:00, 3 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, it would be better this way. Ales Hurko (talk) 20:01, 3 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
