"Juana la Cubana" stereotypical character[edit]
Back around 1989 when in Guadalajara, I saw skits performed in which there was an Aunt Jemima-type character they called "Juana la cubana" that didn't reference the song. If in addition to the song there is some stock character (even a blackface stock character) of the same name, we should mention that in the article. However, I have no idea whether or not such is the case. Accordingly, I am raising the issue here as an encouragement to anyone with appropriate cite-able material on that topic to share in order to supplement the article.
