Jumping the Scratch[edit]

Jumping the Scratch is a wonderful story about a boy that is really alone in the world. I think it is very interesting that he has a memory that he wants lost and then his aunt has a memory that is needed. Putting the neighborhood girl and Jamie in the laundry room with the soda machine was inspiring as they talked. It reminded me of when I flirted with boys when I was younger. It is a really great book for cat lovers like me because Jamie really did share his heart with his cat.
