Result:✗ Fail
The article fulfills criteria 3 (broad and summary-style), 4 (neutral), 5 (stable), and 6 (images). 2 (references) and 1b (Manual of Style) are not fulfilled. Also i don't see any improvements on any of the comments, so failing it. Would be happy to take back review once the nominators fix the issues. Ssriram mt (talk) 03:28, 30 January 2013 (UTC)

- All the redlinks need to be removed.
- Nope, red links do not need removal, even for FA. Red links, in many instances, indicate articles that should be made although not present now. In some cases, however, it may be a result of over-linking; and in such cases only those need de-linking.--Dwaipayan (talk) 14:31, 11 January 2013 (UTC)
- I doubt if articles would be created with the same name mentioned here like "Madurai Railway Division" compared to the actual "Madurai Railway division". Keeping that in mind, either the links can be removed or correct names be used.Ssriram mt (talk) 23:04, 11 January 2013 (UTC)

- there are certain places where there are "citation needed" - can be filled up/removed.
- Subdivisions can be brought under Government and administration section as subdivisions are administrative units.
- convert template be used for all metrics.
- montage - possible?

- "the Laccadive Sea to the west" - the state government website states Arabian Sea and no mention of Laccadive Sea is seen.
- "The region had been a prominent spice exporter from 3000 BCE to 3rd century" - BC/AD denotion.
- Actually, having a certain era style (BC or BCE) is not required for GA, and in fact requesting that an article already established in one era style be changed to another era style goes against WP:MOSNUM, see WP:ERA

- "At a population of 33,388,00, the state " - "With a population of 33,388,00, Kerala"? - first sentence in para.
- "Kerala has the highest Human Development Index" - "The state has the highest Human Development Index".
- " Kerala Gulf boom" - can year mention be added like " Kerala Gulf boom during the 70s and 80s"
- "Hinduism is practised by the half of the population, followed by Islam and Christianity, while majority of over 96% people speak Malayalam." - rephrase.
- "Culture of the state which traces its roots from 3rd century CE is a synthesis of Aryan and Dravidian cultures, developed and mixed for centuries, under influences from other parts of India and abroad." - rephrase mainly the "developed and mixed"
- " prominent output in the total national output" to " prominent output from the state to the total national output"
- "as well as in the agricultural sector, coconut, tea, coffee, cashew, spices are important" - can be split from the original sentence.
- "Kerala is a tourist destination: the backwaters, beaches, Ayurvedic tourism, and tropical greenery are among its major attractions." - can be made a continuous sentence.

- accessdate is missing in some references.
- title is missing in some web references.
- some references are listed multiple times - a common cite id can be used as in Kumbakonam.
- some have missing format=PDF parameter and some others need it be capitalized as PDF.
- some news sites dont have the newspaper name in italics (should use work parameter for cite news).
- some news dont have date.
- promotional websites like Kerala Homestays should be removed.
- some references use page range for single page like "Together with Social Science Term II. Rachna Sagar. pp. 112–. ISBN 978-81-8137-" need to be modified.
Improvements[edit]
I dont see any improvements in the article on the first set of review comments. I am putting it on hold for one week before i can proceed further.Ssriram mt (talk) 02:46, 16 January 2013 (UTC)
