The street boundaries listed in the article make no sense. Angela Street, Winsor Lane and Passover Lane semi-circle the graveyard and Thomas & Whitehead Streets run parallel to each other on the far west extreme of the island. The 1983 boundaries also make no sense. Would it be better to just say that Old Town is the part of the island lying west of White Street? - Marc Averette 21:39, 9 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
But that's what the sources say, and remember, Wikipedia isn't about what's true, but what's documentable. And if reliable sources like the National Register say those are the boundaries, then so must they be. :)
Seriously, though, historic district boundaries are usually approximate at best. Might there be some other source we could use, describing the district's extent more logically? The Florida site just says some of the buildings in the district, like Hemingway's house. I guess we could go with your suggestion, as long as we say it's "roughly" that area or something. --Ebyabe 00:02, 10 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
