Untitled[edit]

Add mention to http://www.fourmilab.ch/hotbits ? Since krypton-85 is used for the hardware rng. I would do it myself but since I do not know the linking syntax at all I'm asking you.

Correcting ambiguity in intro[edit]

A sentence in the intro used to read as follows:

It decays into stable rubidium-85, with a half-life of 10.756 years and a maximum decay energy of 687 keV.

As written this could imply that the rubidium-85 as the half-life and decay energy listed. I've edited this to make it more clear that it's the Kr-85 with the half-life and decay energy, and that the Rb-85 is not radioactive. -Helvetica (talk) 16:49, 19 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Article refresh[edit]

This article seems to contain a somewhat random collection of facts, with some incomplete info or outdated links. I propose to undertake a bit of a refresh of the article. Will do this in pieces so there is opportunity for discussion. Gierszep (talk) 23:31, 30 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This sounds like a fine idea, Gierzep... You might also like to expand the article to include a description of methods used to detect Krypton-85 emissions, and their use in locating clandestine nuclear fuel reprocessing facilities. There are quite a few articles and papers in circulation on this topic.
