Point taken but Mr advani faces charges in various Indian Courts news reports on him and an article in Time Magazine accuse him for the above acts Mr Advani has not brought charges of libel againt these news media. - However I will edit and place the word alleged as its proper to do so sine he has not been convicted in any court regards lalit shastri

Ho just looked at the archives of the Hindu newspaper and Times of India they give a blow by blow account of the Yath Yatra with pictures of Advani on his Toyata Chirot leading a mss of people his sppeches he gave at every stop demanded a mosque be pulled down and a temple built - So that proves he did lead a Yath Yatra - there are also riots that followed everywhere he went maybe its for the courts to decide if his yatra was a cause of the riots

Above point: India's 100 million muslim population was alienated reports from the main muslim newspaper "Milli Gazette" Also there are a large majority of secular Hindus who were against the pulling down of the mosque they were polarised - this section of population drove Advani's party the BJP from power and Congress won the elections. Advani has not been conviced yet in any court because as Home Minister and with the largest majority in parliment he was the principal lawmaker - With the new regime in New Delhi Cases against him are being reinstated

I quote from the Milli Gazette because that newspaper represents the views of muslims who were polorised along with the secular Hindus - Where else do you go to find a source that reflects the opinions of many muslins except the Milli Gazette - only the line that is relevant to the milli newspaper gazette is the one that describes the opinion of India's muslims - I will not quote them when I talk of anything else.

Lal Krishna Advani or Lal Kishenchand Advani

He is often referred to as "Lal Kishenchand Advani", so I've mentioned that (and created a redirect from Lal Kishenchand Advani. Going to the Lok Sabha's web page, and clicking on Leader of the Opposition will return "Lal Krishna Advani". As of August 25, 2005, there are about 7,600 results for Kishenchand and about 28,000 results for Krishna. There are some hits on the BJP's website and on L. K. Advani's website for both names.

I do not know if Mr. Advani can speak Sindhi, however, considering his nationwide political career, Hindi script (instead of Sindhi) should be given as it is official language of India. Szhaider 08:33, 6 February 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for your comments Szhaider. Sindhi can be written in Devanagari and in Perso-Arabic. Even in India, many Sindhis still write the language in the Perso-Arabic script. For example, see the Indian Institute of Sindhology and Sindhi Sangat, which use the Perso-Arabic as their primary script. Khalidkhoso, a Pakistani Sindhi, has graciously added the Perso-Arabic, and can rightfully stay in light of the above facts. With regards, Anupam^Talk 17:36, 6 February 2007 (UTC)

You have not replied to my comment about Hindi. I will be waiting. I removed Perso-Arabic script because it was incomplete. I think only complete script should be added. And only if we have proof that Mr. Advani himself speaks Sindhi and reads, and writes its Devangari and Arabic scripts. Moreover, are there any widely acceptable reliable sources proving the wide usage of Devangari script for Sindhi? In Pakistan, Sindhi is written exclusively in Arabic script, Sindhi is extensively used despite being a regional language. Szhaider 18:01, 6 February 2007 (UTC)

Well, I can request Khalidkhoso to add the complete script. The Pryadarshni Academy confirms that Shri Advani is a leader of the Sindhi Community and the Indian Community as a whole. In addition, most Hindu Sindhi's names with the suffix -ani. In India, Sindhi is written in both Devanagari and Perso-Arabic scripts. Thus, the Government of India, recoginizes both scripts for writing Sindhi (please see Sindhi language: Script). Please also see some additional sources: Acharya: Sindhi and UrbanPK: Discover Language. I have also found a source stating the Sindhi was Shri Advani's native language (please see Rediff: The Rediff Special - L K Advani). Please also note the dual scripted sign in the picture where Shri Advani is depicted with other speakers at the Bharatiya Sindhu Sabha in this article. Khalidkhoso, thanks for adding Sindhi in Perso-Arabic script to the same article. It is very much appreciated. If you have time, there are many individuals listed in Category:Sindhi people, that need the Sindhi script additions. Bakaman, thanks for the information. I was aware of the fact. There's no need to mention him having a cousin living in New York City. Even if you neglect the fact that there's no source, a cousin isn't a particularly close relative and therefore requires no mention, when you consider that the cousin in question has done nothing to warrant a mention. I found these statements about L.K. Advani and Koenraad Elst, maybe this is useful for the article:

Ayub Khan says that Koenraad Elst is the most prominent advocate of Sangh Parivar in the West. He further says: "Such is his importance in Hindutva circles that L.K.Advani quoted him at length while deposing before the Liberhans Commission investigation the demolition of Babri Masjid." In a reply to Ayub Khan, Elst says that he has been critcial of the Sangh Parivar in his writings
