GA Review[edit]

This article needs a few things before it is ready for GA status. A quick look through the article brings up a few concerns:

Much of it is unreferenced, including several entire sections.
Several references are missing important information. At minimum, they should include a title, publisher, url, and accessdate. If a publication date and/or author is listed, this information should be included as well. See Wikipedia:Citing sources for the {{cite web}} template.
The infobox image is missing a lot of important information on its description page.
The last image (captioned "Southeast shore of Lake Tahoe") does not state if the uploader actually took the picture.
The lead is quite short. According to Wikipedia:Lead section#Length, an article of this size should have a lead section of three to four well-developed paragraphs.
The url for "Tahoe Environmental Research Center" in the "External links" section has changed and should be updated. This can be done by clicking on the current link, copying the url from the page, and pasting it over the old url in this article.
The "External links" section is becoming somewhat of a link farm.

These sources would be a good start toward getting the article to GA status. I will place the nomination on hold for now. Please note that this is not a comprehensive review, and more suggestions may be given if these initial concerns can be addressed in a timely fashion. The nomination has been on hold for seven days, and quite a bit of work is still needed. The referencing is still the biggest problem, and no work has been done in several days (with the exception of adding a few images). I am going to fail this nomination, but I hope the editors involved will use this list to guide future editing so that the article can be brought back to WP:GAN (don't worry about #6...the new url is just an IP number, so it's probably best left as is).
