Historical data and that of present day living animals described as "Largest" and/or "Heaviest"[edit]

The article switches between a historical "Who was the biggest/heaviest animal" and information about animals currently living and not extinct. I think that the historical data could be summarised in a subsection of it's own, (within a section) and not spread throughout the article itself.
