Middle name and birth date correction[edit]

There was an inconsistency with Miss Scrugg's birth date and middle name, hence why I changed her middle name and corrected her birth date.

Two Lauren Scruggs are listed in the Texas birth records file. One with the middle name Elizabeth, the other McCullough. If this Lauren's middle name is indeed Elizabeth, then according to the file, her birth date is February 10, 1987.

However, the Lauren that was severely injured in 2011 was aged 23 at the time (stated by various news outlets.) She was 24 in August 2012. This would give Lauren a birth date of 1988. This eliminates Lauren Elizabeth Scruggs, born in 1987.

So it appears the Lauren in this article is actually named Lauren McCullough Scruggs', born July 8, 1988.

All this is interesting, but constitutes original research. If we do not have a reliable source for her middle name then it should be removed. We do not synthesis the fact from multiple sources. --Escape Orbit ^(Talk) 20:47, 28 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Why dispute the middle name but not the birth date? My sources collaborate the age and birth date, which source the middle name at the same time. Another piece of information (the middle name) was found by one source.

She is not a model[edit]
