Editing Article: There are a number of people changing this article, deleting information, changing information, etc. and the changes are only done in malice. If you are not a native Lexingtonian . . . then please do not delete information about our city. There are several people who are editing this article that are not from Lexington, only recently moved here in the past couple of years, or do not live in Lexington. If you live at the lake . . . then you are not from Lexington. This article is about the city limits of Lexington. If you want to make an article about your area then please do so.

Please provide references/citations for edits that you make then there isn't an issue with reverting them. This is policy via WP:RS and WP:V, otherwise the edits are Original Research, which isn't allowed. There is no policy that says someone must live within a city to edit an article, by the way. Childish comments aside, the policies are clear on edits to any article. Pharmboy (talk) 00:54, 24 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

List of restaurants

[edit]

I am not normally a fan of lists within articles, but it would seem that a list of the BBQ restaurants would be in order, considering it is such a part of the culture and city identity. Until I moved here, I didn't realize that people really did drive 1-2 hours from Greensboro, Charlotte, etc. just to eat BBQ. And I am not just talking about the Festival. Before I would include a list, I wanted to get some input and see if there were policy objections. Pharmboy (talk) 18:59, 19 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I added a bunch of images and updated several things. I guess I am the only one editing the page. DENNIS BROWN (T) (C) 19:48, 20 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Cyberbot II has detected that page contains external links that have either been globally or locally blacklisted. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed, or are highly innappropriate for Wikipedia. This, however, doesn't necessarily mean it's spam, or not a good link. If the link is a good link, you may wish to request whitelisting by going to the request page for whitelisting. If you feel the link being caught by the blacklist is a false positive, or no longer needed on the blacklist, you may request the regex be removed or altered at the blacklist request page. If the link is blacklisted globally and you feel the above applies you may request to whitelist it using the before mentioned request page, or request it's removal, or alteration, at the request page on meta. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.

Below is a list of links that were found on the main page:

Triggered by \bimagesdavidsoncounty\.com\b on the local blacklist

If you would like me to provide more information on the talk page, contact User:Cyberpower678 and ask him to program me with more info.
