Page move?[edit]

Alright, so I think a page move may be in order. First, using the Revised Hepburn style of romanization that is one of Wikipedia's standards in the Wikipedia:Manual of Style (Japan-related articles) article. However, I'm not sure exactly, since it states:

2. Article titles should use macrons except in cases where the macronless spelling is in common usage in English-speaking countries (e.g., Tokyo, Osaka, Sumo and Shinto, instead of Tōkyō, Ōsaka, Sumō and Shintō).

I would assume that it's not in "common usage" to use the macrons, so I suppose we could leave this be for now, I think. As for the other thing, I noticed the Japanese title includes a period after the main title as seen with あさっての方向。and this is also shown on the pic in the infobox from the anime adaptation. My question is should the article also have a period at the end of it, or would that be too much?-- (十八|talk) 03:03, 28 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think it matters much, but the rules say we should move, then we should move, I guess.

Hiro and Karada[edit]

This line doesn't make sense:

"He only met her for the first time at her parents' funeral, and prior to that he never thought of her as his sister."

If he met her for the first time at the funeral, of course he couldn't thought of her as his sister (or as anything) prior to that. O_o? Kazu-kun 21:41, 21 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

He knew about her or had at least heard of her from a relative or something like that, but he first met her at her parents' furneral. He didn't think of her as anything related to family until after they had met. That's what that sentence means.--(十八|talk) 00:14, 22 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

In volume 2 of the manga, it shows that Karada is result of the sex Hiro had with his aunt. Because of her pregnancy, Hiro moved to the US before she was born. Karada is his daughter so he doesn't think of her as his sister and his first meeting with her is at the aunt's funeral. -Inky 13:35, 02 December 2006 (UTC)

Separate sections for anime and manga?[edit]

It has come to my attention that there are several serious plot divergences between the anime and manga of this series. Aside from the fact that the manga is still ongoing, there is also the issue of Karada's parentage - while the anime states that she was adopted by Hiro's parents, much of the drama surrounding her in the manga is generated by the fact that she was the daughter of his aunt Yoko, who died along with his parents. Hiro admits (drunkenly) to having had an affair with Yoko, and the possibility that Karada may be his own daughter. Such a strong plot point seems worthy of mention, yet it does not mesh well with the anime continuity that is presented on this page. Any plot or character differences can go in those respective sections, and the focus should attempt to rely more on the information from the manga rather than the anime since it's the source material. The way to do this would be to re-write the plot and characters sections with the manga info in mind and then add in side notes regarding differences in the anime.--十八 04:58, 9 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
