Barger, King, Luzon[edit]

Per GNIS, it looks like Barger is about a mile west of Longview, but the names of nearby stations often differ from the names of the towns/post offices--are they considered to be the same place? If more info could be found it might be good to clarify, as I know people get really confused by the station/town/p.o. thing. Also note that the names Luzon and King aren't in GNIS for Benton County, some other sources might be good to find. Cheers, Valfontis (talk) 23:59, 2 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

There's a good chance that the railroad source is simply wrong. The Washington place names database frequently mirrors the railroad's records, and tend to propagate any errors. I will see if I can any find additional sources to help clarify the discrepancies. - MrX 00:53, 3 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
