Lynfield[edit]

Lynfield is a very nice town. Maybe there should be a community aspect and a bit about the schools around. Does anyone know anything about Lynfield that they can add?--helping make wiki better- dagurlwonder 02:45, 4 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Lynfields history[edit]

Ive added some history relating to Lynfield on here and in the lynfield college article. Lynfield College is heavily interlinked with the Lynfield History, so its hard to judge where the article should go. It would be nice to have a little more precision as to when Lynfield became a suburb. Also, it appears that the suburb must have been subdivided further, as there is now a suburb Lynfield North. But in 1960, when my father built a house in what is now Lynfield North, the area was part of the suburb of Mount Roskill. I have no sources as to when these changes were made.
