You have got to be kidding me![edit]

Using "a crater diameter" as a unit of measure in a scientific article that specifically mentions craters with different diameters is totally ridiculous.WAvegetarian 01:38, 2 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

It has common practice among selenographers; ergo I don't consider it ridiculous at all. It gives the reader a sense of the scale. — RJH 21:58, 6 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
