There is a map and some other nice images on the Vietnamese language Mui Ne article. I would incorporate them here myself, but do not currently have the wikipedia editing skills for it. If nobody else does it first, I may do so later. Chris Young 04:40, 6 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Etymology[edit]

What is the etymology of this place name? vi:WP says it means "evade nose" or something like that, which seems very odd. Badagnani (talk) 21:39, 1 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

vi:WP says that it means "Cape Evasion", used as a shelter from typhoons. Another theory posits that it originates from the name of a Cham princess. DHN (talk) 21:56, 1 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
