Magus/Warlock[edit]

Why the same dual identity? Is this a historical reference to some Warlock/Magus duality in either fiction or legend? - Darkhawk

I don't understand. Warlock is Magus' child. Magus feels the need to kill Warlock and has failed. Lots42 01:23, 27 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Error[edit]

The Magus first appears live in Strange Tales 181, not Warlock 11. The Magus is erased from the pages of time in Warlock 11, but he had already been seen by readers first in Strange Tales 181 and then in Warlocks 9 & 10. The picture you have featured on the side comes from ST 181 when on the last page the Magus announces to Warlock "I am the true Magus." He's dropping his Wizard of Oz disguise now to reveal himself before Warlock so that he can summon he In-Betweener. Someone made a mistake putting the number Warlock 11 next to that picture. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.69.137.29 (talk) 02:35, 6 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
