Pillai's conjecture
[edit]Pillai's conjecture is more a special case than a generalization of Hall's conjecture. Indeed, in 1977 M. Nair proved in "A note on the equation x³-y²=k" that Pillai's conjecture would follow from a weak Hall conjecture.
