Adding additonal information.[edit]

I believe there will be a new mayor on 19th May and this happens every year (since when I do not know) and wondered if it would be a good idea to include this.

Perhaps we could also include some information about what the mayor does today for example his/ her public face is normally performing civic ceremony’s and raising money for the mayors charities which are chosen each year by the incumbent.

I would perhaps add a quick edit or two to reflect this but this is my first outing into Wikipedia other than reading and learning, so wanted to discuss it first. Wintonian (talk) 01:14, 9 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I only just came across this page, which had no links from the Winchester or City of Winchester pages, so I've added a paragraph and a link respectively to help find this page.
