This article has been reviewed as part of Wikipedia:WikiProject Good articles/Project quality task force in an effort to ensure all listed Good articles continue to meet the Good article criteria. In reviewing the article, I have found there are some issues that may need to be addressed, listed below. I will check back in seven days. If these issues are addressed, the article will remain listed as a Good article. Otherwise, it may be delisted (such a decision may be challenged through WP:GAR). If improved after it has been delisted, it may be nominated at WP:GAN. Feel free to drop a message on my talk page if you have any questions, and many thanks for all the hard work that has gone into this article thus far.

Title

*The title of this article seems rather odd. "Academics" usually means the academic staff, but it's apparently being used here as a shorthand for "academic programs".

This may be a BE/AE difference. WP:UNIGUIDE recommends that university articles have a section called "academics", although to the best of my knowledge the editors who drafted that guidelines were American for the most part, so take that for what it's worth. — DroEsperanto (talk) 22:47, 21 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I think you're probably right about it being a BE/AE thing, so I'll strike that point. --Malleus Fatuorum 22:51, 21 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Lead
  • There has been a request for citation in the lead since October 2007, because the information given is not cited later in the body of the article.
  • "MSU has the premier hospitality school in the United States". Extraordinary claims like these (what does "premier" mean in any case?) need to be supported by reliable sources, not the school itself.
Demographics
  • "Michigan State has the seventh largest student body in the U.S." Seems to be the eight largest according the list linked to.
Honors College
  • This section is completely uncited.
Human Medicine
  • This section is also completely uncited.
References
  • There are at least 19 dead links, which leaves much of the article effectively uncited, and consequently very difficult to check for accuracy.[1]

As these issues remain outstanding this article has now been delisted. --Malleus Fatuorum 02:29, 1 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
