Movies Acted in[edit]

Q: I have seen 2 Harold Lloyd movies when Mickey Daniels acted in. One with a significant role. I do not see either one noted. The first was in Dr. Jack (1922) where it was clearly Daniels who played the little boy that was playing sick to stay home from school. It is a rather lengthy scene where Dr. Jack (Harold Lloyd) discovers that the boy (Daniels) is not sick but will get a hefty spanking from his mother. He concocts an ingenious way to make it look like the boy is getting spanked and Daniels is acting like he is crying. He also appears a few more times in the movie. He also appears in Harold Lloyd's "Girl Shy". In the ending chase scene where Lloyd is scrambling to get to the next town to prevent the marriage of the girl he loves, he at one point steals a wagon pulled by a team of horses, and goes rambling down a busy street. Daniels is on the sidewalk and the camera shows a close-up of him driving his fist forward and cheering. He has the following line "Go you spark plugs, go!". Why are these two roles not noted. Especially the lengthy role in Dr. Jack? There are plenty of more roles listed on IMDB. Looks like someone didn't do their research. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 155.109.5.26 (talk) 18:26, 28 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Age at Death?[edit]

The "death" section says that Daniels died at age 55, but the birth and death dates show that he lived to be 66. So, which is it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.126.226.142 (talk) 11:51, 9 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
