Age?[edit]

The opening sentence stated that he is 26 years old, but then mentions that he was born in '59. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Crouchend524 (talkcontribs) 06:29, 7 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Citation [1][edit]

Link is broken - no idea what to do with it. ConnertheCat 15:13, 21 December 2005 (UTC) What is Miles' age?

History reunited[edit]

The history of this page got severed into two (half was at Miles O'Brien (Star Trek)) after someone did a cut-n-paste move. I have now re-united it all here. Noel (talk) 16:49, 9 September 2005 (UTC) What is miles o'brien's (journalist) age?[reply]

He graduated from HS in '77.

"Xena"; "Ceres", "1 Ceres".

Hilarious & silly.

Miles O'Brien [ Miles_O'Brien_(journalist) ], cnn, speaking with Neil deGrasse Tyson, announced this mnemonic:

"My Very Educated Mother Just Sent Us Nine Pizzas,..."

"Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto,..."

"...'chovies eXtra."

Why did they get rid of Miles on American Morning? He was the best thing to happen to CNN. I loved him talking about science and tech. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 141.133.154.254 (talk) 08:30, 7 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

"Female and Gay following...?[edit]

I'm not sure about the following sentence: "He is noted for his curly black hair and crystal blue eyes. This has given him a large female and gay male following." Even if he does have such a following, what does his appearance have to do with anything? This is a profile about a journalist and I feel this should be removed entirely. 74.129.73.43 (talk) 11:05, 2 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Helicopter pilot?[edit]

This news report seems to have him saying that he's piloting a helicopter. Can anyone confirm that? 89.159.154.178 (talk) 17:52, 3 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Also there was a major rewrite coming from Turner broadcating (Likely CNN) by an editor with little to no experience. These edits need review/work. 89.159.154.178 (talk) 17:56, 3 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Leaving CNN[edit]

The article wording has been changed to say he has already left CNN. Is this true? I can't find any source to support this - only ones I can find say he is to leave but no date has been given. [1] The CNN web site still lists him as "chief technology and environment correspondent. " [2] Citizensmith (talk) 16:51, 8 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Unsourced[edit]

The article is largely unsourced material -- which doesn't mean it isn't true, but does mean its out of the ballpark when it comes to Wikipedia standards. The entire article could virtually be removed by virtue of its lack of specific sourcing -- ironic, given that its an article about a journalist.842U (talk) 11:00, 18 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
