Okay! Does anybody have a to-do list? —Preceding unsigned comment added by SiDNEy (talkcontribs)

It needs the following:
  • In-line citations (nearly everything must be cited!)
  • Much-improved prose (especially to capture the flavor of the event).
  • Better lead section.
  • More images.
  • Better length, with more and appropriate details.
  • More citations, especially to local news sources, union sources, government officials (federal, state and local), and employer sources.

That's a start. - Tim1965 17:54, 24 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The above needs to be completed first, but I'd also like to see a section on the legacy of the strike. For example, the Teamsters for many years held annual picnics in Excelsior that drew thousands of supporters. This worried members of the Civic and Commerce association so much that they wanted to create something to keep people in Minneapolis and started an annual festival known as the Aquatennial.

In more recent years there have been picnics on the 40th, 50th, and 60th anniversary. On the 70th and 75th anniversary there were street festivals near the site of the shootings (3rd St and 6th Ave N) as well as a picnic on the 75th anniversary.

Anyway, the section should probably be shorter than what I just wrote but it would be a good addition. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.118.135.52 (talk) 22:35, 10 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
