The ancient oak
[edit]I am currently in Mirepoix and have had a close look at the oak. I never knew oaks could have leaves other than the classic design! This one looks like nothing I expected. I've been trying to identify what kind of oak it is but the only variations that look similar are native to North America. Naturally if the oak is as old as they say (800 years) it can't have come from there. Can someone help identify it? I'll try to post my photo of it..
