curious features

[edit]

The piece mentions "curious features" without getting around to pointing out exactly which features are curious. Am I missing something? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.79.62.19 (talk) 04:03, 11 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Southern Romanization

[edit]

Why is he shown as "President Kim Il-sung" in the South Korean style of upper case / lower case shift and hyphen, while she is listed as "anti-Japanese heroine Kim Jong Suk," in the North Korean style of all three names standing alone and starting with an upper case letter? They were both North Korean... shouldn't his name be Romanized as he Romanized it rather than how South Koreans wished he had Romanized it? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.79.62.19 (talk) 04:10, 11 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This article should just follow the style from the main article Kim Il-sung. I think the basic reason is just common usage in English. I doubt it has much to do with South Korean usage. If you like, you are welcome to discuss the style at Talk:Kim Il-sung. If there's a consensus to change it there, then the change can be propagated to other articles such as this one. --Amble (talk) 07:54, 26 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
