According to the relevant style guide, this should not be changed without broad consensus.

Named after Samuel Morse?[edit]

The Tourism Saskatchewan website begs to differ:

 "The town of Morse was named in honour of the western superintendent of the CPR railroad."

This seems like a much more probable explanation of the name.
