...Existentialism?[edit]

He was one of the most talented representative of existentialism in European literature staying in line with Franz Kafka and Fyodor Dostoevsky. - Very strange statement (not to speak of a bizarre 'love' triangle): in this seemingly credible article he (Kotsyubinsky) is described as a follower of realism (and later impressionism) traditions in literature. -- Evermore2 (talk) 10:11, 23 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, it's strange. It was added by an IP, but he/she first had written "He was one of the most talented representative of impressionism in European literature staying in line with Joseph Conrad and Virginia Woolf" but then for some reason changed to the current text. The impressionist/Conrad-Woolf line looks more plausible even if Woolf was so much more modernism-inclined. Parallels of this kind should be well-sourced, anyway. -- Evermore2 (talk) 13:18, 24 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, maybe best to delete it if no source can be found. Närking (talk) 17:46, 24 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Changed it, using some definitions from the Encyclopedia of Ukraine article. -- Evermore2 (talk) 10:56, 28 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Looks good! Närking (talk) 17:23, 28 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
