Removed text that contradicted with the earlier text[edit]

Removed the following text: "This is not true what so ever. The Northern Democrats were lead by Stephen Douglas who had a popular sovereignty base in the election of 1860. The newly formed at the time Republican Party ran Abraham Lincoln in the election of 1860!"

The place to discuss errors is on this talk page. The article should not become a hodgepodge of conflicting statements. Of course, it would be fine to replace unsourced erroneous material with sourced and correct material. BTW, "lead" is a misspelling, as is "what so ever".
